About the doctor

Dr. Liza Klein

Halitosis specialist · M.N. 26991 · M.P. 43.692

My practice is devoted to a single problem: bad breath. I diagnose its origin with instrumental precision and work on the cause, not the symptom.

I trained at the University of Buenos Aires and completed a postgraduate program in Halitology, the field that studies bad breath and its causes. Since then my practice has focused on halitosis — a common, often unspoken complaint that almost always has a concrete explanation.

I see patients in Belgrano, Buenos Aires. Every consultation begins by measuring with a halimeter and understanding the case before proposing any treatment.

How I work

A method, not a shortcut

The diagnosis

Before proposing any treatment, I measure. The halimeter quantifies the volatile sulfur compounds (VSC) that produce the odor, so we start from an objective figure rather than an impression.

That reading also serves as a baseline: at follow-ups we measure again to confirm the improvement.

The treatment

Halitosis almost always has a concrete cause — often in the mouth, sometimes in the body. My job is to identify it and act on it.

I do not sell products or promise miracle cures. When a case goes beyond what the consultation should address, I refer it clearly.

Objective measurement
